School of Policy Studies

Queen’s School of Policy Studies (SPS) strives to achieve these goals through its professional graduate degree programs in Industrial Relations and Public Policy and Administration, through research undertaken by our faculty, students, and research centres and programs, and through the many conferences and continuing education programs that advance knowledge and professional practice.

Centre for Studies in Primary Care

The Centre for Studies in Primary Care (CSPC) is the research arm of the Department of Family Medicine at Queen's University. The CSPC conducts high-quality research that is focused on the improvement of primary health care practice delivery and education, at the local and national level. Our research activities draw on a wide range of disciplines through collaborative academic partnerships, and include involvement of practicing physicians who participate in our research program through our Practice-Based Research Network (PBRN).

The Centre for Health Services and Policy Research

CHSPR strives to enhance the credibility and capacity of Queen's University to understand and contribute to the rapidly developing field of health services research, health program evaluation, and health policy analysis. By creating a centralized, multi-disciplinary organization, CHSPR aims to establish a visible scholarly presence on a provincial, national, and international level.
